Junior Leagues

Our 2019 junior leagues are open to junior golfers from ages 8-14.

The 2019 junior leagues start in May and runs through the end of July. This year’s leagues include:

  • Spring Junior Development League (beginner to intermediate)
  • Summer Junior League (intermediate)

Leagues are open to junior golfers at beginner and intermediate levels.

Details

The Spring Junior Development League will focus strictly on playing the golf course, and learning the rules and etiquette involved. The league will cover some instruction, but each week the players will be practicing on the course dealing with real golf situations. Each week, our lessons will take place on the golf course learning about all the areas on the course, hitting shots from different lies and the on-course challenges they will face.

By the end of the program, the golfer’s goal is to confidently play an entire hole from start to finish. This program is ideal for beginner and intermediate golfers looking to be introduced to the game and become familiar with the golf course. This league is a perfect transition program towards the junior summer golf league.

There will be a maximum of eight golfers enrolled in each day of the league.

The Summer Junior Golf League offers a fun experience for boys and girls to play on a weekly basis while learning many aspects of the game of golf. We want the league members to grow as players by learning the rules of golf, proper etiquette, honesty, respect and the sportsmanship involved with the game. It is ideal for an intermediate golfer looking to get his or her first bogey!

League members will play seven holes for seven weeks and receive warm up golf balls each day before they play. They will also participate in:

  • five instruction clinics
  • three rules/etiquette orientations
  • a player evaluation
  • a parent/child play day
  • a season ending pizza party

Prerequisites

All junior league members must meet the following requirements:
